The history of humanity is filled with individual and collective testimonies about our spiritual survival after our physical death on earth. Every civilization, old and new, large and small, near and distant has recorded testimonies about that survival. Those testimonies are ongoing, now being reported by many who have suffered near death experiences in this age of modern medical resuscitation. Denying all these past and present testimonies simply because we don’t believe them, or haven’t experienced them ourselves, or because they have not yet been proved in a physical science lab is very short sighted. Yet accepting them as true, and then ignoring their implications about the Way you must live your life is a much more dangerous form of thinking. Taking that understanding to heart is spiritual Wisdom.
“Hear, Ye children, the instruction of a Father, and attend to know understanding.
Proverbs 4:1-5
For I Give you Good Doctrine, forsake not My Law.
For I was My Father’s Son, tender and the only Beloved of My Mother.
He taught Me also, and said unto Me, Let thine heart retain My Words: keep My Commandments, and Live.
Get Wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the Words of My mouth.”
