In a positive sense “Water” represents genuine spiritual knowledge about the things that affect your mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. When willfully applied to the way you live your life that knowledge acts to cleanse and refresh your thoughts and affections. As you innocently do so in reverence for your love for God and for your love for others it becomes transformed into a “Living Water”. That transformation liberates you from what would otherwise keep you entrapped in falsities and evils of all sorts. Spiritually, all True Life from the Lord’s Life springs forth, grows, and flourishes within you as you apply that knowledge to the Way you live your life. For this reason, water is symbolically used in religious purifications through physical washings and baptisms.
