Throughout the Old and New Testaments, the Lord teaches you about the importance of understanding spiritual causes and effects. He teaches you that they will determine the state of your mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing in this life, and most especially, your state of being in the life to come. And so, for your Good and for the Good of all around you He asks you to trust in His Testimony to you about these things, Promising that He is teaching you about things that are True and Right. Nevertheless, He leaves it up to you, from your own free will to have faith in His Testimony to you by living your life accordingly. He teaches you that there is simply no other “way” you can become the person that He has Purposed for you to become. He also teaches you that you can “prove” these things for yourself, if you honestly, sincerely and humbly try.
