The Lord calls upon you to realize that the letter of the Word embodies the Spirit of the Word just as your physical body encompasses the spirit within your soul. And just as you are physically dead without your spirit living within you, so is the letter of the Word dead without the Spirit Living within it. It is therefore imperative for you to realize that it is the Spirit within the Word which Gives the letter of the Word its True meaning and Life, and not the other way around. Thinking otherwise leads to countless misunderstandings about the meaning and Intent of Scripture.
“And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
2 Corinthians 3:4-6
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
Who also hath made us able ministers on the New Testament; not of the letter, but of the Spirit; for the letter killeth, but the Spirit Giveth Life.”
